By accessing or using HireBest ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The service

HireBest provides AI-assisted screening of candidate CVs against job descriptions. Outputs (scores, categories, reasoning) are decision-support, not final hiring decisions. A human must review every shortlist.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Acceptable use

  • Don't upload data you don't have a lawful basis to process.
  • Don't use the Service to discriminate unlawfully against any candidate.
  • Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
  • Don't upload malware, illegal content, or material you don't have rights to.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of job descriptions, CVs, and other content you upload ("Customer Content"). You grant HireBest a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to operate the Service for you.

5. Fees and billing

One-time plans are billed once on order confirmation. Monthly retainers are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. All fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated.

6. AI outputs

AI outputs may be inaccurate, biased, or incomplete. You are solely responsible for hiring decisions. You agree to comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data-protection laws when using the Service.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party provider issues, and force majeure events may cause downtime.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk. On termination, we will delete or return Customer Content as required by law.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireBest's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify HireBest against claims arising from your Customer Content, your hiring decisions, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes will be resolved under Delaware law, unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
